Revisited many times over, I've recreated this image at least 5 times. Each series of prints has it's own character. I printed it from a piece of oak this time. The woodgrains show so well with oak. Originally I came up with this design in Gardiner Montana, shortly after my brother died. When I was in the woods, the crows and ravins would come visit, always perching in a tree near me. Their cawing and talking gave me comfort that Erich's spirit was close by.
