It is difficult to see under the snow (which makes it all so magical),
but there is a stone wall along the northern bank of the creek (on the
left of the picture). I am pleased for the artisans who worked on
this project so many years ago that they were able to have an impact
without leaving a single fingerprint. I wish I were that good.
