Photographing birds in West Papua is difficult. Most birds sitting high in trees, behind branches and often in the dark areas of the jungle. Nevertheless, I am happy with some shots of extremely rare birds. Of de Bruijn's Brush-turkey I'm the fifth photographer taking a photo of the bird. However, the circumstances were extremely difficult. The quality of some pictures is therefore lower.
