I try not to use similar photos so close together
but I have a story to tell. We have a bunch of old
one gallon plastic bottles out near the rain barrels
and when it rains sometime there is the darnedest
racket as the rain hits them, at one point I could
hear the rain hitting our roof and for some reason
I went out on the deck and I noticed it was pouring
out by the street and just hardly anything coming
down and no noise by the rain barrels! Yep, the edge
was right over the house! Don't notice it often but
you know there has to be a start and end. The news
broadcast had a lot of heavy rain in their forecast
and here it was. This morning I looked at the gauge
and it was four and one half inches! I emptied it again!

I have been feeling poorly since Tuesday and am going to
the doctor this afternoon, I think I'll bring my laptop with me.
