Ever since we have lived here there has been 6-10
empty barges stowed across the river, a couple of
weeks ago a fisherman was thrown from his boat and
the river had been searched to recover his body, he
has been found but while trying to search near these
barges it was found that there was a large amount of
trash had built up due to tree branches and other stuff
and it was next to impossible to search properly and look
through it, so the barges had to be removed but if all had
been removed, then the barge company would not have
been allowed to keep storing empties there per the DNR.
