Processed using the Nik Color Efex Pro Polaroid Transfer filter. The filter provides optional amounts of texture, blur, color shift/saturation and a border - this image uses the default values.
Slid a small piece of black paper behind these flowers. Growing inches behind them were a gaggle of white coneflowers which made for a very distracting background.
Spent a lot of time "tripod fiddling" to get the right angle and separation between these two flowers(oblique angle, and not overlapping & not too far apart- just touching). Spent about 30 minutes with the coneflowers overall and probably 10 with just these two.
