Left - from camera (RAW with camera image controls such as sharpness, saturation, etc. turned off or at lowest setting)
Center - After processing and conversion to jpeg (all done in Capture NX & Nik Color Efex Pro) - this is what I would have gotten in-camera if I were willing to damage these plants growing in my garden in order to push a black backdrop in their midst (plus I turned on the in-camera saturation when in NX - i.e., changed the camera setting for saturation that I had set at low in camera which is a big advantage with RAW since you can readjust all of the camera settings *after the fact*).
