Poster in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Civilian Conservation Corps in 2008. It started with this photo of mine taken as a volunteer photographer for the park service http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/93220994 and progressed though the *wonders* of Photoshop. The statue is "Iron Mike" - a new addition outside the Byrd Center visitor's center near milepost 50 on Skyline Drive (Skyline Drive being one of the CCC's signature accomplishments) in Shenandoah National Park).
Just trying to follow in the giant footsteps of another park service photographer - name was Ansel something or another ;-)
Poster will be for sale through the Shenandoah National Park Association (all proceeds go to the association; I get a photo credit - that's what "volunteer" means).
