3/17/08 - Slinking Around

DNA? No, three intertwined neon slinkies (slinky's??) illuminated with black light.
I think that these toys have the potential for making some interesting images. I shot a couple with the slinky pulled back around the lens and then stretched out in front of the camera - like shooting down a pipe - but have to work on that one a bit more to figure out how best to support it (need a helper - hint, hint). Any ideas?
As I looked back through my recent PADs with landscapes, floral macros, painting with light still lifes, black light, infra red it occurred to me that the images may not be great but they're sure diverse. Avoiding boredom through experimentation. Maybe one day we'll find something that works.

Ed - I think this is great. It's a very eye-catching photo. There seem to be some artifacts around the edges though - what causes them? I can't figure out how you did the multiple images - x frames per second? Please reveal.
