Out walking the dog before dinner and a neighbor had just put up his holiday display. Take the dog home, get the camera, and return. The combination of lawn light and the framed door seemed a nice greeting card image.
Ended up shooting two exposures - one exposed for shadow and one for highlights - and combined them. I did this primarily to avoid having the nearby lawn light blow out the upper left corner. I'll try this again another day shortly after sunset while there's more natural light. That should help reduce the tonal range and result in a better image.
