A ten shot multiple exposure (vertical pan between shots.)
A bit of fog this morning. Decided to walk over to the loblolly pine grove and take advantage of the fog and remaining color on the few deciduous trees growing among the pines. Although the fog's not evident in this image, it made for great lighting and enhanced the color.
It's fun trying to visualize a nice painterly composition for this technique. These two rows (7 rows extending for 300-400 yards) lend themselves nicely since there's a gap on the right which allows a distinct leading line to enter from the lower left corner.
I added the "arty" border using Nik's Color Efex Pro's new Polaroid Transfer filter (turned off all of the quirky transfer parameters except the torn border).
