11/7/07 - Yet Another Multiple Exposure

Nine shot multiple exposure in a nearby lob lolly pine grove.
Took the multiple exposure into Nik Color Efex Pro and added two steps -
1) Used a warm/cool filter to warm the top and cool the bottom very slightly
2) Used the Lighten/Darken Center filter to emphasize eye movement down the center path through the grove to the unknown beyond.... (the eye goes to the lighter areas of an image)

Nikon D70
1/15s f/8.0 at 62.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I like the way you've pushed your idea -- that the separation of trees is paramount -- even further into the 3rd dimension with this image. And took the risk of so much foreground, but positioned the tree on the lower left edge of the bottom third so perfectly as to break the symmetry *and* give me the feeling of participating in the scene.

Your compositions are so strong! Combined with your excellent technique, these images are a special pleasure to view.

I love these multiple exposure shots you do. Very inspiring. The depth, detail and light is like I sometimes see things in my mind. v
