Just a perfect & beautiful flower, this dahlia. Lit by the early morning sun. Focused on the center & let the rest go soft.
Shot this well over exposed (+1.67 EV) - right at the edge of totally blowing some highlights. I like the bright cheery result.
At least one color channel was gone, but enough remained in the others to provide some detail. Since I shoot RAW, I adjusted the exposure just very slightly after the fact so that no pure white blown highlights were obvious.
