Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Decided that it was time for a black & white image. This old grist mill was built on this spot in 1868. The National Park Service now operates it and sells corn meal to park visitors.
"Keeping your nose to the grindstone" - this is how the miller knows whether the grinding process is getting too hot and burning the meal.
