It's hard to believe - another year gone by. They keep getting faster & faster.
Decided to go out with the camera today. No excuse with the unseasonably warm winter we've had so far. One of just a handful of outdoor shots since November.
My intention was to shoot some dried milkweed pods - and I did, but saw these pines with occasional drops of water on needles and cones from last night's rain. They made a prettier image than an old black milkweed pod. Pretty usually wins.
Shooting the entire morning at ISO 800 because the light was low and there was a slight breeze moving things around. I really don't like doing that with closeups - the noise is hard to control without wiping out detail in the subject at the same time.
