I'm in the midst of preparing an educational (I hope) talk for a camera club program. One of several topics is extending the camera's dyanmic range (or how do you make an image if the the range between the darkest darks and the lightest lights is greater than your camera's sensor or film can handle).
Today on a forum, someone asked that very question. Since I had the answer already processed, I posted a four image sequence with comments to answer the question.
