What? No montage? No multiple exposure? Just a plain old photograph? Yep - only the second this month.
My favorite time for photography. I could take a picture of this scene every minute for an hour and have 60 different images. Not so on a sunny day - and yet many (most?) folks with cameras stay home on a day like today. Strange.
In a period of 15 minutes the mist swirled enough that at times the pine in the center of the frame was almost completely obscured. I chose this one for the frontmost hillside just barely peeking out from a cloud. In a few more weeks these trees will be gold/tan/orange - no reds here.
