Reporting in from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park in Empire, Michigan - my home away from home for the next two weeks while on a Nature Photography Elderhostel (my 830 mile drive away from home - ouch). Got here early and looked around a bit while waiting for registration time. With the mid-day sun and really harsh contrasty light an IR image was the best thing available.
Tried a slightly different IR processing technique. Adjusted the white balanced in Nikon Capture by using the "Set Temperature" adjustment followed by using the set B&W under Photo Effects. Finished with a slight Curves adjustment to enhance contrast and, finally, some sharpening.
