I've always wanted to try the Freeman Patterson colorful flowers totally out of focus shot through water drops trick. This is my first try. Laying down in drenched dew covered grass is the first obstacle (shot with camera on a tripod at ground level). The color is from a bed of pansies. The water drops are from the dew covered grass. Now that I've made my first try, I can see where it's back to the drawing board. Need to find a bed of flowers with good colors and a better water source in the foreground than 2" high grass (which is too low; better if it was about 6" tall and wet top to bottom). Lots of variables to play with before I get this technique down as well as I've done with the multiple exposures also inspired by FP.
