Although this looks black & white, it was shot in color. Many winter scenes could easily pass for B&W.
I like this shot but it's not my favorite from my NH snow photography trip. However several people, whose opinions I respect, liked it a lot so here it is.
The afternoon was unseasonably warm causing s slight melting of the ice surface and some mist. The lines running from left to right are snow mobile tracks. The ice was thick enough to hold a car.
