Looking ahead to the February themed competition - Hands & Eyes. For me, at least, this is a tough theme but I guess that's what themed competitions are all about - getting you to try new things.
Winnie is stressed over the holidays; she doesn't like changes to her routine - another trait we humans share with our pets. As she watched preparations for yet another round of guests she wanted to be held. Her head resting on my wife's shoulder made a nice photo op. The shot came out a bit noisy because I cranked the ISO way up to get a shutter speed that would freeze her eye movement (she kept looking over at me to see what I was doing and the eye kept going back & forth). After looking at the shot with and without the noise (cleaned it up with Noise Ninja) I decide the noisy version had a nice "feel" to it.
