Sorry about 2 PADs today (see "next"). I went out to do some sunrises. While I was taking this sunrise shot over the pond I happened to look behind me and there was the setting full moon. I had been intending to shoot a bunch of plain moon shots to use later on - when the occasion arose - as one-half of a double exposure. Apparently film photographers have been doing this forever. I decided to try it now combined with the sunrise shot just to see the effect. And here you have it. It's certainly artificial looking - intentionally - since the moon was shot with a telephoto lens and the sunrise with a wide angle lens.
I shot 45 moon shots - nine locations in the frame (imagine a tic-tac-toe board with a moon in each of the nine sections) at five different focal lengths (sizes).
