Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive stop at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Hiked down to a dune "blowout" where the wind is wearing away a bowl shaped depression in a several hundred foot high sand dune. The wind was blowing fine sand in a 1-2 foot layer across the surface (really, really windy) and it took a while to get the cameras and lenses clean after finishing the shoot.
