On the shore of Sleeping Bear Bay, Lake Michigan. Temperature was about 50 with a 20-25 mph wind - and I was dressed for summer. The wind was from right (north) to left in this photo. There was something in the water in front of me that attracted the gulls. They would almost hover when headed in to the wind. Made for a good photo op.
