Going away for a 2-week Elderhostel Nature Photography trip. See you at the end of June.
I'm sure glad that I bought knee pads and a right angle viewer before this spring's flowers began. It seems that the nice shots are at near ground level. This one is an example of something that I've been working in lately - trying to get good separation between the main subject and the background objects. Lots of twiddling and tripod moving/adjustment to get that dumb foreground flower in the middle of an open green space. They say that it's the little things - I guess....
Several more keepers that had me torn over a PAD choice - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/pad2ndsyear2
