One small segment of about 500 geese that took off over a period of 15 minutes. I wonder how they know when it's their group's (squadron's?) turn? I was standing in the flight path. Some went to one side and were frontlit like these. Others were backlit making for a very high key image like http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/37769001 and especially http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/37769002 (I think high key puts a positive spin on overexposed blown highlights.)
