10/5/04 - IR Experiment

Sandwiched an IR and a color. Used a density mask of the IR in an attempt to control the amount of color that came through in the combined image. The IR acts as a polarizer of sorts since the stones in the stream foreground are almost invisible in the color portion of the image, but show up very clearly in the IR.

I realy like the effect and a great shot.
I would realy like the steps to take Photoshop CS, if you can see your way to send them. I also have a D70 and use a tamron 17-35 DI lens and a Harrison 89B filter. I love your photographs.

Neat photo. What filter was used for the IR part of the image?

This is a great idea. I like what you have done. Any more mashups?
