6/28/04 - Down by the Pond

Put away the D70 for a day and used the 5700 - before it gets rusty. Practiced composing landscapes using the tripod. The new Gitzo 2220 & Kirk BH-3 ballhead make things 100x easier than my old gear. It's hard for me to see things other than nature macros.

Nikon Coolpix 5700
1/133s f/7.8 at 37.7mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Well my mind could not "compute" this image until I read the first comment. Guess her eyes are younger than mine. Good job. Bobbie

This is really beautiful, and unusual. Most people would have framed it so that the building and its reflection are in teh photo. Its quite an original thought to leave out the solid building and only include the reflection. Its beautiful. But I can't help but think you must have a few mosquitos about.....

Stunning reflections! I like the way the reflection is broken up thoughout the water. Lovely!
