Getting a head start on my pic-a-day. Family's coming by tomorrow for an early father's day celebration & I may not have time to post one. This shot was made today at the same wildflower meadow where the 6/18 PAD shot was made.

Two shot sandwich. Camera on tripod. First shot at f22 with a +2 exposure compensation. Second shot aperture wide open; +1 exp. comp.; focus slightly blurred. Sandwich the two shots (two layers in PS) and voila!

This technique is called the Orton Technique. Used several times in Tony Sweet's book, Fine Art Nature Photography.
