Shenandoah National Park. This is pretty and as good as the colors get in the Blue Ridge mountains. Lots of yellows and browns with lesser amounts of red & orange. A different color palette from New England. Today was dense fog (clouds actually) and temps in the mid-30's which is unseasonably cold. Possibility of snow up here tomorrow night. I'd like that as I'm a park volunteer photographer and I (and the park) don't have many snow images (the fact that the park closes when there's snow on Skyline Drive might help explain that - tough to make images when the park is closed. I'm working a deal that will get me in when it's closed.).
