I took some "normal" shots of this four masted schooner sitting at its pier and the images were - well, boring. I wanted something with some visual interest and after some experimentation came up with this. This is where the unique beauty and mystery of a sailing ship exists.

Well, I'm in Albany, NY - half way home from my 10 day New England autumn leaf get away. Home tomorrow - and then I get a 2nd fall leaf season since the Shenandoah mountains are several weeks behind New England. (Not as colorful as NE, however, since there are virtually no maples but lots of oaks which usually show yellow at best & brown at worst. But still, beauty is everywhere.)
