This is a work in progress. The setup is at left; missing is the photographer in the gutter at the end of his driveway shooting the shadows in the diffusion disc (and neighbors wandering - and wondering - by). Today was trash day & I reclaimed some temporarily before they got here.
I stumbled across this idea while shooting flowers in the field (& using the disc for its intended purpose) when I happened to glance an the disc, with sun streaming through, and saw these neat shadows. A light bulb went off!
The center image was made this morning in the driveway. The right image - a more mysterious image of orchids lit by morning sun through my sun room windows) - I find more intriguing. All sorts of possibilities including elements on the near side of the disc as well. More to come....
