Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park - Wandering around in the mist (clouds) and rain and was about to give up at this particular stop when I spotted this isolated branch at eye level with a background of fog shrouded golden ragworts growing among these small trees at the edge of the meadow. Got within the minimum focus distance (about 1 foot) and focused on this branch which allowed me to make the rest of the scene just a suggestive blur - it fit the day & the mood.
