Dense fog on the side of a mountain ridge. Looked around for something to place in the foreground in order to illustrate, by contrast, how thick the fog was. This mountain laurel fit the bill and the ghostly shape of a tree carcass further back (less than 100 feet) provided the counter-example. I stood here for about 10 minutes waiting for glimpses of the far tree through the fog. This was as a clear as it got and even here I had to kick up the contrast in post process or it was almost invisible..
