A few feet above the Elakala Falls in Blackwater Falls park in WV. Me, tripod, rocks, water, ROAR, in the early morning before direct light ruined the scene. The yellow color in the water and the orange and black at the bottom are actual colors - not post processing. The river (this image was made on Shay Run, a tributary to the Blackwater River) earns it name because the water is "black" (well sort of). Here's a Wiki explanation "As vegetation decays in the water, tannins are leached out, resulting in transparent, acidic water that is darkly stained, resembling tea or coffee." Added an arty border to match the arty nature of the abstract.
