A light misty rain and fog - perfect photography weather. Out the front door to make the rounds at 7:30. Decided to take only the D70-IR with an 18-70 lens (& tripod, of course) and see what could be done in the rain/fog. This 150+ year old oak is a favorite. I usually shoot it so that it's all visible, but decided on a closeup this time. Stately & majestic. (Image is as it came from the camera - except - added a slight tint and a light vignette to frame the image.
