It's getting toward still life season. Let this be the opening salvo. In a week or so all of nature's outdoor flora will be packed up & put away for the winter. Now if I could get rid of this 5-star respiratory infection which makes even indoor still-life a chore.
This was basically an exercise in composition - filling the frame correctly (in camera, no crop in edit) and in conversion to monochrome (sepia - but the image was basically monochromatic to begin with).
If you're in the U.S. I hope that you got out and voted - for someone, anyone. Show "them" that you care.
