A portfolio of sorts - with just four images. I've been shooting this tree for almost five years - 1,000's of times. Periodically, I go through the archives and put four of the better ones together like this. Spring and fall are the hardest. Spring because it's hard get the difference between winter (no leaves) & summer (lots) to show up in an image. Fall is tough because this tree turns mostly brown & after it does the leaves are gone almost immediately - takes timing, luck & a warm light. The image looks better if you click the "Original" option below this caption. My favorite of all the 1,000's is - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/96504105
The tree is a 150 year old Southern Red Oak which sits at the edge of a golf course fairway (right near the tee shot landing area naturally).
