A 3-exposure HDR image made about 20 minutes before the sun came up over the horizon.
A good breeze was blowing & moved the cattails around a lot. Between the movement in the longest exposure (10 sec) and needing to align 3 separate windblown images, this was a real test for the HDR software (Photomatix in this case). I actually made 4 exposures - the additional one was at 20 sec exposure which I omitted because its alignment was too far off.
This image has picked up the characteristic "unnatural" HDR effect. Because of the alignment issues, coupled with the wide tonal variation between the darkest & lightest exposure, I wasn't able to make this look *natural*.
