Not my usual cup of tea, but you have to take what's available - geese taking off at dawn.
One of 5-6 geese "squadrons" that overnight in a local pond and then lift off at dawn. I often wonder how each goose knows which group it belongs to & how the squadrons decide on their daily destination (usually each group heads off in a different direction - but not always).
Shots like this give me an appreciation for the difficulties sports photographers face doing action shots in low light. For this one - hand held, VR on, panning, fixed focal distance just short of infinity, shutter priority, 1/250 sec, ISO 1600 (but I forgot to set the shutter release to continuous - next time).
