Originally delivered to Luxair in 1978, this Boeing 737-2C9 entered service with Transaero in early 1993 as part of their original fleet. It seemed to be active in 2001, but now (Transaero with an all 737 EFIS fleet) the aircraft has been apparently scrapped - the engines have been stripped and the aircraft lays at Domededevo Airport Moscow in a corner allocated to what seem all scrap aircraft. There seem to be a few complete Transaero 737-200's at Domededevo also not in use as far as I can tell. Awaiting a buyer probably.
