A brief working vacation in July allowed me to revisit a beloved US city. My first time to see the grand old lady since the Katrina disaster. My itinerary could not include those areas still devastated by the hurricane's wrath. But the central part of the city including the historic riverfront, Jackson Square, the French Quarter, Bourbon and Royal Streets, etc. are still lovely. A few views for your enjoyment.
