Ireland

In recent years we've had the opportunity to make several visits to that special land of emerald hues, rainbows, leprechauns, and endless good fellowship. Here are a few images selected from our frequent journeys to Northern and Southern Ireland. Due to photo equipment limitations during travel, viewing at a maximum of medium or large size (links below each individual, viewed image) is recommended or limited for images with lower native resolution. Failte!
Most images on this gallery were made variously on a venerable Sony Mavica FD95 and on a Panasonic PV GS250 3CCD Mini-DV Camcorder. Only in our most recent travel was a Sigma SD14 DSLR available. I'm working in images from that higher quality camera a few at a time.

HI Ed - This gallery is just great, a lot of these places I recognise from my very frequent visits to both the North and the South. The climate sometimes can be less than favourable, but you have managed to capture the beauty of the country very well.

I have seen most of these places and this is just a wonderful viewing of a fantastic country. The people, their friendliness and the history are just superb! Oh to be an ancestor of this fabulous place is just heaven........Beautiful, thank you.
