School Programs

Literacy:

Rattrapage (recuperation) program:

This program enrolls children aged 8 – 16 who have dropped out of elementary school. The students complete three years of education and are delivered a certificate for completion of elementary school.
For the current year, 160 students are enrolled in three different classes.

Regular elementary program:

Organized for the first time, this program has opened with three grades, first through third. It has 100 students.

Adult literacy program:

There are two classes: beginners and intermediates. There are 25 students in this program.

Special literacy class for street children:

14 street children are enrolled this year.

Vocational programs:
Sewing program:

This program enrolls single mothers and unemployed young women. Students are taught sewing skills. They graduate after 9 months of training. For the current school year, 20 students are enrolled.

Woodworking program:

This program is for boys. It is in its first year and organizes one class for street boys.
