The Great Salt Plains

In Oklahoma, in an area of twenty-five square miles, the salt plains comprises a geological feature that people enjoy visiting. Salt mixed in the soil combines with moisture and other chemicals to create crystals, specifically, selenite crystals. People arrive with their shovels to dig for them.
