After a month with my head buried in the books, it was high time I got out and about - so a pretty much impromptu visit to Snowdon ensued. Reasonable weather, overcast skies and a good workout for the thighs! Great stuff...and upon reaching the summit I discovered that the café was closed. Good job it didn't rain and, more importantly, that I had my flask of hot coffee to beat back the cold winds slapping across the summit!
