Back at ground level, this double bridge structure is approximately 150 yards away from Idwal Cottage Youth Hostel.

The bridge crosses the outflow from Llyn Ogwen. Looking under the well-used bridge you will see the remains of an older one built by the renowned engineer Thomas Telford [1757 - 1834] when he constructed the London-Holyhead road.
