It's nice to see something familiar once in a while. I must admit that I prefer the sound of church bells tolling compared with the periodic islamic call of the faithful which, to my ears, is a dirge disturbing the otherwise calming and familiar sounds of the city.

(note: this is not a comment on any religion but rather a reflection upon the aural atmosphere in the city and well as a recognition of my own cultural influences - is that a good enough caveat?!)
