Granada

The Alhambra in Granada is an outstanding piece of the Moorish history of this region of Spain and one of the must see places to visit. Parts of the Alhambra date from over 1000 years ago and it is thought even older, maybe from the Roman occupation. Its setting overlooks the beautiful city of Granada and surrounding hills, some of which are home to the famous hill caves.
