The pictures are beautiful. I enjoyed viewing them but I can't believe the house you choose to post. There are very beautiful homes on the island and the island is one of the riches in the west indies.

Simone, thanks for the comment. Yep, I sure did the touristy things and most of my photos show that. But I also took about 5000 photos while I was there, but only posted the touristy ones...the ones that most people would relate to. My hosts were stationed on Trinidad at that time and pretty much knew their way around both islands. Most of the time we spent doing non-tourist stuff, I didn't take many photos. They loved living in your country very much. Thank you for the invite. When I leave on my world cruise, I will most certainly be stopping in T&T for an extended stay...your country made that much of a wonderful impression on me. Dave

Thank you for the kind comment, rachael. I confess that I did take a ton of shots of the sun sea and sand...I also like to see everything else the islands have to offer. Unfortunately, I'm still too much of an amatuer to capture the people who live on the islands. Most of them were very colorful and friendly people.

I love the shots of the bamboo scenes very picturesque, it's refreshing to see that you haven't only taken shots of { sun sea and sand} which is {boring}.'The usual caribbean cliche' I'd love to see some more nature shots with winding rivers with bamboo growing along the banks, rural life, ole time houses etc. thank you though! great shots
